Vets review our health-adjacent guides after drafting, not before — our editors research and write the first draft, and a panel vet checks it against current veterinary consensus before it publishes. That is why every badge reads “Reviewed by,”never “written by.” Reviewers are independent contractors, not employees or shareholders, and they receive no compensation, free product, or other consideration from any brand we cover — their fee is for review time only and is unaffected by which product a guide recommends.
